We can’t wait to welcome you back through our doors however we have had to make adjustments to the way we operate to keep customers and staff as safe as possible. Here at Millsy's our level of service and customer experience are at the forefront of our values, so during this time we are working hard so that you are able to enjoy your time with us safely.
Booking a table is highly recommended and we are now able to accept bookings for downstairs as well as the restaurant, some layout, capacity and maximum table size changes have been made to comply with restrictions. We advise you to arrive 5 minutes before your booking. Please note that if you are more than 5 minutes late, your table may be released.
Due to the seating plan forced upon us by government guidelines, priority will be given to groups of 4-6 people. We can no longer accept groups over 6 people. Tables should consist of guests from a maximum of 2 households or support bubbles.
To safely operate within the government guidelines, please note that we are unable to book 2 tables for groups to sit next to each other. Increased distance between tables and new perspex screen dividers simply make conversations between tables impossible, which may present situations where tables break the social distancing rules in place. This could then put us in a difficult situation to keep all other customers and staff safe. We will be continually reassessing these policies and hopefully will have more opportunity for larger groups in the future. Please continue to check our website for the most up to date guidance.
By booking with us you confirm all members of your group are currently fit, healthy and are not showing any symptoms of COVID-19, are not in a household or support bubble with someone who has symptoms, and are not currently being advised to self-isolate as part of the NHS Test & Trace service.
Please note that your table will be reused after 2 hours. We also ask you to leave your table in good time before the next booking arrives, this is in order for us to be able to thoroughly clean down and sanitise the area in time for the next table.
Monday - Saturday: Brunch menu 9am - 2.30pm, Dinner menu 5.30pm - 9pm (Early Bird will now be available 5.30 - 6.30pm)
Sunday: Brunch menu 10am - 4pm, Sunday Roast menu 12pm - 4pm
Menus will be paper and will be disposed of after use. We will be operating a slightly reduced menu, however gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options will still be available.
We will be open normal opening hours, however for the time being weekend closing times will be managed on a shift by shift basis.
We will be operating a one way system, you will only be able to enter Millsy’s through the main entrance and exit via the rear. When coming to Millsy’s we ask that you do not enter even with a booking unless greeted by a member of our team in the front lobby. If there is a queue outside please wait while observing social distancing guidelines.
Ordering & Service
As per government guidance, all areas will now be seated only. All orders must be taken at the table by one of our dedicated waiting staff, at this time customers will not be able to place orders at the bar. Contactless payment is strongly encouraged.
Sanitising stations are placed throughout the premises for both customers and staff. All surfaces touch points will be sanitised by staff as frequently as possible and every table will be thoroughly cleaned down before a new customer is seated. Tables will be clear of any settings, with fresh cutlery provided as required.
For service staff and staff within confined spaces it is mandatory to wear masks. We also ask you to leave your table in good time before the next booking arrives, this is in order for us to be able to thoroughly sanitise the area for the next booking slot.
Please note that although capacity is reduced, service may be slower than usual in order for us to maintain safety & hygiene standards, so please bear with us during any delays. We can't wait to see you all again soon!
